Study Abroad Program

Kyung Hee University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with over 380 sister Universities across 65 countries, including Harvard University, Keio University, Cambridge University, the University of British Columbia, and University.This vast array of excellent universities provides exemplary opportunities for GSP students to study abroad either as exchange or dual degree students.
Every year GSP sends around 5-10 students to study abroad with generous financial support. Those participating in the exchange program or dual degree program will only pay tuition to GSP and are except from paying tuition to the host university. Likewise, foreign exchange students wishing to study at GSP will only pay tuition to their home university and are exempt from paying tuition to GSP.
Student Exchange Programs
This program allows GSP students to study abroad for one to two semesters in one of our excellent sisteruniversities.Our partner universities include but not limited to the following:
- Renmin University (China)
- University of Missouri-Columbia (U.S.)
- University of Osaka (Japan)
- Hochschule Osnabruck, University of Osnabruck (Germany)
- University Paris-Est Creteil(UPEC) (France)
- Friendrich-Alexander Universitat Erlangen-Nurnberg (FAU)
Eligibility
- Completion of at least one semester at GSP
- At least a 3.5 GPA and at least an 850 TOEIC score or equivalent
- Students must pay tuition to GSP prior to their departure
- Students will be selected based on their study plan, interview evaluation, language proficiency and previous academic performance.
Application Period
GSP sends students twice a year at the beginning of March and the beginning of September. The application information may change every semester and is announced on the GSP homepage just before the process starts. Note: Detailed information on the application period will be posted on the GSP homepage (http://gsp.khu.ac.kr/). Some host universities may demand additional requirements.

Dual Degree Program
Students participating in this program can study abroad in one of GSP's sisteruniversities for two years. The benefits of our dual degree program are that the student can graduate with two M.A degrees, one from GSP and another from the partner university in just two years. Students can apply to universities that offer courses of their interest.Our partner Universities include but not limited to the following:
- Business Management and Social Sciences, Hochschule Osnabruck, Germany
- Public Affairs, University of Missouri-Columbia, USA
- Paris Est Creteil (UPEC), France
- School of International Studies, Renmin University, China
Eligibility
- Completion of at least two semesters with at least 24 credits earned.
- A GPA of at least 3.5 in the semester the application for the program is submitted
- Proficiency in the language required by the foreign university and a score of 850 or above on the TOEIC.
- Permission to travel outside Korea (related to visa issuance and duration of sojourn).
